Wellness Juice Shots

Ya’ll know I cannot go a day without a juice shot and this is my go-to recipe I make weekly. I like to make a big batch and pour one or two a day before my meals. I have found that my digestion has been amazing since adding these to my daily routine. These juice shots are anti-inflammatory, gut-healthy, packed with micronutrients, and are great in aiding in hormone balance. This recipe requires minimal equipment and is SO affordable! All of these ingredients cost so little and are worth every penny!

Equipment:

  • High-Speed Blender - I used a Vitamix

  • Nut Milk Bag or Fine Mesh Strainer

  • Large jar, sealed pitcher, or individual shot bottles for storage

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ginger root, washed

  • 2 lemons, washed and quartered

  • 2 inch piece turmeric root, washed

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 4 cups water

  1. In a high-speed blender, add all the ingredients

  2. Blend for 2-4 minutes on high until there are no large chunks left and the liquid is uniform

  3. Place a nut milk bag in a large bowl and pour your juice into the bag

  4. Slowly squeeze the bag, releasing the juice from the pulp. Be careful not too make too much of a mess because the turmeric stains!!!

  5. Once you cannot get any more juice out of the bag, throw away the pulp

  6. Pour the juice carefully into your storage containers and refrigerate

  7. Enjoy within 10 days!

Veganism doesn't have to be hard, unappetizing, or unhealthy. I here to show people how to make delicious healthy recipes free of many allergens like gluten but with an extra healthy twist. Many of the recipes are completley grain-free, refined sugar-free, oil-free, and made with ingredients that are of course plant based and as close to the whole plant form as possible. There less processed it is, the better. I also write blog posts on living a vegan lifestyle. Veganism isn't just about not eat animals and their byproducts, but also not buying leather or buying cosmetic products from companies who test on animals. I am here to help people on their journey to a life free of cruelty but full of positivity and happiness. I share my vegan story, cruelty free skin care routine, makeup routines, eco-friendly household products, ethical fashion, yoga and meditation, zero waste essentials, how to throw a vegan party, pantry essentials, and so many more!
